On 27 August 2025, Vilnius University will host its Welcome Event for international students — a full-day programme designed to help newcomers settle into academic and everyday life in Lithuania. 

The programme includes presentations on Lithuanian history, practical tips for studying and living in the city, guidance on student services, safety, cultural and sports opportunities, as well as insights from fellow students and student organisations.

Arrival and check-in is from 9:00 to 10:00, the programme runs from 10:00 to 16:00, with a lunch break at 12:00.
