Guided Tour of the Central Ensemble of Vilnius University

✨ We invite you to join a guided tour of the historic Vilnius University ensemble, organized by the Vilnius University Museum!

This is a guided tour of the impressive and history-rich central complex of Vilnius University. Visitors will learn about the University’s major historical events, notable figures, and the most important sites within the complex. During the tour, you’ll visit the following university courtyards: the Library Courtyard, the Sarbievijus Courtyard, the Simonas Daukantas Courtyard, the Grand Courtyard, and the Observatory Courtyard. The significance of the frescoes by Rimantas Gibavičius and Petras Repšys, located in the Faculty of Philology, will also be highlighted.
